Today I released a new version of Infoplakat.no, which is a web-application for digital signage (info screen).
The application is only available in Norwegian at this moment, but are hoping to translate in to other languages in the future.
What does it do?
Infoplakat.no are built with standard web-technologies (PHP, MySQL, Javascript/Jquery CSS3…), where the main goal is to create pages/slides that could be run on a monitor/TV. Perfect to publish information to employees, parent in schools or kindergarten, etc.
Last weeks I have been working on v3, where I mostly has re-written everything – as the first versions was built on concept without any classes at all.
The new version also has some new features like:
- Countdown-timer that can play sound when it reaches zero.
- Scheduled pages.
- Users can add their own background images.
- Push-refresh, that allow refreshing the client from the server.
- Etc…
